What happened in 2018?

Dear Education Togo Community,

From our whole team in Austria, Germany and Togo – we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2019! We are very thankful for all our supporters in 2018! Thanks to you, we’ve been able to realise many of our projects. Here’s a quick review of the main ones in 2018:

* Construction of latrines next to our school building in Salimde

* Renovations in our school building in Bougabou

* Scholarships for 300 girls for the school year 2018/2019

We are highly motivated to continue with new amazing projects in the upcoming year!

Scholarships 2018/19

Once again like every year we achieved to provide scholarships for the upcoming school year for 300 girls in need. Many families in Togo are struggling to pay the fees for all their children to go to school so most of the young girls end up staying at home. Thanks to the scholarships this wasn’t the case. These scholarship packages not only include the school fees but also provide them with bags, books, pens and other necessary school material as we want to make sure that the girls have enough resources throughout the whole school year.

We would like to thank all our supporters of this year’s scholarship fundraising initiative once again for making this possible. You are the reason that a lot of girls are happy and can continue to be able to learn.
